Outlook: Looks to help plug the middle after becoming
one of the top inside defenders in the PacWest last season.
At
MSU Billings: In his sophomore season, started 22
of 26 games. He was named Academic All-Conference. He scored a
career-high 23 points versus Rocky Mountain College and snatched
a career-high 14 rebounds on December 29th. In his freshman
season, Brian played 14.4 minutes per game and started six of
the twenty-nine games. Brian shot 58.9% from the field and 52.2%
from the free throw line. He grabbed 3.6 rebounds per game with a
career high 9 against South Dakota. Brian hit his only three
pointer of the season against Western New Mexico, the last game
of the season.
At
Shepherd High: Brian earned three letters in basketball
and track and two in football. Brian was chosen as a three time
all-conference pick and was selected twice to all-state. He was
the Valedictorian of his class with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Personal: Brian is the son of Bob and Coreen Cook, born November 26, 1979.
He has one sister and two brothers. His major is accounting. His
hobbies include reading, listening to musci and being with
friends. The most famous person he has met is Mel Gibson. His
favorite non-sports hero is his grandfather.
