Seattle Pacific Posts 90-34 Victory over Yellowjackets

SEATTLE, Wash. – Seattle Pacific University
posted a 90-34 victory over Montana State Billings Thursday
night. With the
loss, the Yellowjackets fall to 1-20 overall and 1-9 in the
Great Northwest Athletic Conference.
The Falcons improve to 15-4 overall and 7-3 in conference
play.
The Yellowjackets were led by 10 points from
freshman
Kirk Blaine and 10 rebounds from sophomore
Tyler
Hentzen.
Seattle Pacific held MSUB to a season-low 34 points and a
season-low 22.6 percent from the field (12 of 53).
The Jackets were 3 of 23 from beyond the arc and 7 of 12
from the line. The
three treys were a season low and so were the 12 made field
goals.
The Falcons were hot from the start, shooing
61 percent from the field in the opening half and 55 percent for
the game on 36 of 65.
SPU was 10 of 26 from beyond the arc and 8 of 13 from the
line. Rob Will led
the Falcons with a game-high 24 points on 11 of 14 from the
field. Brandon
Larrieu added 16 points and Adam Wardell chipped in 11.
The Yellowjackets look to rebound on Saturday
at Northwest Nazarene.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
MSUB returns home against Western Oregon at 7 p.m., Feb.
