Watson, Cazemier Named to All-Tourney Team (8/27/06)

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Montana State-Billings volleyball players Ali Watson and Alicia Cazemier have been named to the Mountain Lion Invitational All-Tournament Team for their play this past weekend.  The Yellowjackets were 2-2 at the tourney with wins over Quincy and UC-Colorado Springs.  The Jackets’ losses came to Armstrong Atlantic and Fort Lewis.

Watson, a senior outside hitter from Calgary, AB, led the Yellowjackets with 4.13 kills per game at the tournament.  She also averaged 4.33 digs per game.  Watson posted a double-double for kills and digs in every match of the tournament, including an 18-kill, 20-dig outing against UC-Colorado Springs.

Cazemier is a junior middle blocker from Vauxhall, AB.  She averaged 3.93 kills per game on a .242 attack percentage.  Cazemier also had 15 blocks over the weekend to move to fifth in school history for career blocks.
