Yellowjacket Baseball to Hold Winter Camps (10/27/06)

BILLINGS, MT – Montana State-Billings head baseball coach Chris Brown has announced the dates for the Yellowjackets’ series of winter baseball camps.  The camps are open to youth ranging from 5 to 18 years and cover a variety of topics including hitting, fielding, pitching, and catching.

There will be three sessions on January 27, 2007, that cover hitting and fielding.  Age groups are broken up into 5-9 years, 10-14 years, and 15-18 years.  The cost of the camp is $30.  On February 3, 2007, there will be three camp sessions coving pitching and catching.  The age groups and prices are the same as the January 27 camps.  If a player signs up for both camps, the cost is $50.  Each camp session is limited to the first 30 to register.

Brown and his staff are also offering individual and small group instruction on a first come, first served basis.  One- and two-hour individual sessions cost $30 per hour.  Three two-hour individual sessions can be purchased for $150.  Small group sessions of 2-4 players cost $60 per hour for one- and two-hour sessions.  The three two-hour small group sessions cost $300.  The dates available for individual and small group instruction are November 18, December 2, December 9, December 16, and January 20.
