Bryce, son of Rose and Terry Thomas, attended
Laurel High School and graduated in May 2004. There he was
awarded the Babe Ruth Foundation Sportsmanship Award and made the
school's honor roll for 3 years. Bryce then attended Rocky
Mountain College for 2 years, lettering in basketball. He
averaged 15.7 ppg, 6 rpg, 3 spg, and 3 asg. In 2005, Bryce was
named to the All-Tournament Team at the Belgrade Firecracker
Tourney, as well as Defensive MVP. His high school baseball
team, the Laurel Dodgers, placed second at divisionals in 2004. He was
given the Defensive MVP for his efforts that season, as well. A high school
standout basketball player, Bryce was an All Conference MVP and
named to the All-State team as a point guard in 2004. That
same year he was the Sheraton Classic's 3-Point Champion. In
2003, he competed at the Junior Nationals and was named the Hot Shot
National Champion in basketball. In Bryce's senior high school
season, he batted .445 and stole 30 bases. He also maintained
a fielding percentage of .970.
Bryce is majoring in business management, with a minor in coaching.
