Bills, Cazemier and Donahue Ranked by NCAA (Oct. 20, 2004)
BILLINGS, MT – Three Montana State-Billings
volleyball players were ranked in the NCAA statistical rankings
released on Wednesday. Natalie
Bills (So., Provo, UT), Alicia
Cazemier (Fr., Vauxhall, Alberta) and Andrea
Donahue (Sr., Whitefish, MT) are each ranked in the top 30
nationally for one category. The next NCAA statistical ranking
will be released on November 3.
After dropping out of the top 30 in the last
rankings, Bills is back to No. 29 among NCAA Division II setters
for assists per game at 12.34. She leads a Yellowjackets team
that ranks 23rd nationally for assists per game at
14.44.
Cazemier is in the NCAA statistical rankings
for the first time. The freshman middle blocker had two good
weeks to move up to No. 29 in the country for blocks per game at
1.27. She leads the team with 79 total blocks.
Donahue has been in every statistical ranking
the NCAA has released this season. She is currently No. 8 in the
nation for hitting percentage at .415. On 407 total attempts this
season, she has 211 kills with only 42 errors.
The Yellowjackets host Rocky Mountain College
in a non-conference match on Wednesday before resuming PacWest
play on October 25 and 26 at home against No. 25-ranked Chaminade. |
