Bills, Donahue Still Ranked in NCAA Volleyball Stats (Sept. 23, 2004)

BILLINGS, MT – Montana State-Billings volleyball players Natalie Bills and Andrea Donahue are each ranked in the NCAA statistical rankings released this week.  The rankings are for matches played through September 19.  The next statistical rankings will be released by the NCAA on October 6.

Bills, a sophomore setter from Provo, Utah, is ranked eighteenth nationally for assists per game at 12.48 per game.  Central Washington’s Kate Reome leads the nation at 14.14 assists per game.

Donahue, a senior middle blocker from Whitefish, Montana, is ranked eighth for hitting percentage at .437.  Fellow PacWest middle blocker Barbara Martin of Hawaii Pacific leads the nation at .477.

As a team, the Yellowjackets rank twelfth in NCAA Division II for both assists per game and kills per game.  They are averaging 14.58 assists and 16.18 kills per game. 

MSU Billings is off to a 7-3 start to the season after a 3-0 win at Rocky Mountain on Tuesday.  The Lady Jackets resume PacWest Conference play on Monday with four matches in Hawaii.
