Men’s Golf Heads to Buzzini/Stanislaus Invitational (Apr. 8, 2005)
BILLINGS, MT – The Yellowjacket
men’s golf team will compete in their final tournament
in Turlock, California April 10-12 before heading to the
PacWest Conference championships later this month in
Hawaii. The Jackets will take part in the Buzzini/Stanislaus
Invitational. The 54-hole tournament will be held at the
Turlock Country Club with a tee time of 7:30 a.m.
The Buzzini/Stanislaus Invitational
will feature 17 teams. Joining the Yellowjackets and
host team Warriors include, CSU-Bakersfield,
Hawaii-Hilo, Nova South Eastern, Chico, Northwest
Nazarene, PT Loma, CSU-San Bernardino, Kennesaw State,
Utah Valley, CSU-Sonoma, CSU-Monterey Bay, St. Martin’s,
CSU-San Diego, Western New Mexico and Western
Washington.
Of the teams competing, the Jackets
have met eleven of the seventeen in prior competition
this season with Western Washington winning the most
recent of those tournaments. Two 18-hole rounds will be
played Monday, April 11, with the final 18-holes played
Tuesday, April 12.
The Yellowjacket golf team will
compete in the PacWest Conference championships April
21-23 in Hilo, Hawaii. |
