Belgrade Golfer Signs With Jackets (Apr. 27, 2005)
BILLINGS, MT – Montana State-Billings
men’s golf coach Roger Burckley has announced that Chris
Goldan has signed a national letter of intent to play for
the Yellowjackets next season. Goldan is a senior at
Belgrade High School in Belgrade, MT.
Goldan was a three-time Class A
All-State golfer for the Panthers. He captured the
Central Divisional and State A championships as a senior
and posted a 74.2 scoring average for the season. He won
top honors at six of the eight tournaments he entered,
posting one second and one third place finish. His state
title led the Panthers to a third place finish at the
state tournament at the Sydney CC.
“I was born and raised in Montana,
and I feel it’s important to pursue a degree at a Montana
state university,” said Goldan. “MSU Billings has the
only men’s (NCAA) golf team in the state.” |
