Yellowjacket Basketball Hires Assistant Coaches (Sept. 21, 2004)
BILLINGS, MT – Montana State-Billings head
men’s basketball coach Craig Carse announced Tuesday that Brent
Montague has been hired as a part time assistant coach for the
2004-2005 season. Montague was an assistant with the
Yellowjackets for six seasons before leaving for another job prior
to the 2003-2004 season.
Montague was the team captain of Carse’s
first MSU Billings team in 1995-96. He was an assistant starting
in 1996 until he took a job at Berry’s Auto in Billings in 2003.
He was also the school’s compliance coordinator. Montague will
continue working as the sales manager at Berry’s Auto along with
assisting the Yellowjackets in a part time capacity.
David Carse has also joined the Yellowjackets
as a volunteer assistant coach. He was recently hired as part
time Special Marketing Coordinator for Men’s and Women’s
Basketball. Carse will be responsible for season ticket sales,
game promotions and fundraising along with assistant coaching
duties. Carse graduated last year after playing four years for
the Yellowjackets. |
