Lady Jackets Play One Round in Washington (Oct. 11, 2004)
BILLINGS, MT – Halley Montalban’s
first round 89 led the Montana State-Billings women’s golf
team Monday at the Western Washington Invitational.
Montalban, a former Senior HS standout, is 16-over for 42nd place. The day’s second round was unable to be completed
because of darkness. The second and third rounds will be
played at the Bellingham Golf and Country Club on
Tuesday.
Central Oklahoma leads the team
standings after the first round with a 320. The
Yellowjackets sit in ninth place with a 369. Western
Washington’s Katja Trygg is the top individual after 18
holes with a 1-under 72.
