Lady Jackets Host St. Cloud State to Open MSU Billings Cup (August 28, 2003)

BILLINGS, MT – The MSU Billings women’s soccer team will kick off the 2003 season on Friday afternoon against St. Cloud State University.  It will be the first of three games in the second annual MSU Billings Cup Sponsored by Thrifty Car Rental.  Game time is set for 1:00 p.m. at Yellowjacket Field.

Along with St. Cloud State, East Stroudsburg University from Pennsylvania will visit the Magic City this weekend.  St. Cloud will face East Stroudsburg on Saturday in game two of the round robin tournament.  The Yellowjackets will be back in action on Sunday against East Stroudsburg.  All three games are slated for 1:00 p.m. starts at Yellowjacket Field, located at the MSU Billings College of Technology.

Last year, Metro State captured the MSU Billings Cup Sponsored by Thrifty Car Rental with wins over MSU Billings and Minnesota-Morris.
