Lady Jackets Slip in Final Round at Northern
Colorado (Apr. 13, 2004)
GREELEY, CO – The Montana
State-Billings women’s golf team trimmed six strokes
off its first round score, but slipped to sixth
place in the final round at Northern Colorado on
Tuesday. The Yellowjackets were passed up by
Chadron State, who improved by 25 strokes to edge
MSUB by three strokes.
Amanda Rabenberg, Julie
Clifford and Elizabeth Marshall finished 22nd,
23rd, and 24th respectively in
the individual standings. Rabenberg shot a
two-round total of 182. Clifford was eight strokes
better on day two to finish with a 184.
Northern Colorado won the team
title with a two-day total of 624. The Bears’
Meagan Dahlberg took individual honors with rounds
of 74 and 70 to finish with an even-par 144.
The Yellowjackets finish the
2004 season at the Nebraska-Kearney Invitational on
April 26 and 27.
