Billings Senior Golfer to Tee Up for Yellowjackets (July 30, 2003)
BILLINGS, MT – MSU Billings
head golf coach Dave Doherty has announced that
Megan Flotkoetter has signed a national letter of
intent to play for the Yellowjackets next season.
Flotkoetter is a 2003 graduate of Billings Senior
High School.
Flotkoetter shot a two-round
194 at last year’s AA State Championships to finish
ninth and help the Broncs to a fourth place team
finish. She finished in the top ten in each of the
tournaments she entered as a senior. A four-year
letter winner, Flotkoetter also helped Billings
Senior to a second place finish and two third place
finishes at the state meet over her career.
“I feel that Montana State
University-Billings has the same, if not more, to
offer me as any other college,” said Flotkoetter,
who graduated with honors at Billings Senior and
will major in pre-pharmacy. “The prices and
location have almost everything I’ve asked for. To
be a part of the MSUB women’s golf team will give me
a chance to expand my competitive golf resume and
will help me stay on track with my lifelong goals.” |
