Lady Yellowjacket Golfers Complete First Event of the Spring (Mar. 8, 2004)
CHICO, CA – Elizabeth Marshall’s 28th-place finish paced the Montana State-Billings women’s golf team as the Yellowjackets completed their first competition of the spring at the Chico State Subway Invitational. Marshall shot a 44-over 188 for the 36-hole tournament, carding a 90 in Monday’s first round.
Stephanie Segura from Cal State-San Marcos and Morgan Peterson from Chico State tied for the singles title with an 8-over 152. Western Washington won the team title with a two-day total of 636. The Yellowjackets finished last in the seven team field with a score of 795.
MSU Billings will next play at the Northwest Invitational March 22-23 in Blaine, WA.
