Yellowjackets’ Munro Named to All-Tournament Team (September 3, 2003)
BILLINGS, MT – MSU Billings outsider hitter Olivia Munro was named to the Clash in the Foothills All-Tournament
team as announced Wednesday. The 5-foot-8 junior from Toronto, Ontario
led the Yellowjackets to a 2-2 record at the opening weekend tournament
co-hosted by Colorado School of Mines and Colorado Christian University.
Munro registered 60 kills and 48 digs, both team
highs, while playing in all 13 of the Yellowjackets’ games. She averaged
4.62 kills and 3.69 digs per game while also adding six total blocks and
two service aces. In 182 attack attempts, Munro posted a .209 hitting
percentage which was the second-best on the team.
The Yellowjackets will play in a triangular
tournament in Arcata, California this weekend, facing Sonoma State and
Humboldt State twice each. Following is the Clash in the Foothills
