Lady Jacket Softball Team Closes Fall Schedule with Tourney Saturday (Oct. 23, 2003)

BILLINGS, MT – The MSU Billings softball team will complete its fall schedule with two games this Saturday against Weber State’s club team.  There will be four games throughout the day, with MSUB and Dawson CC each facing Weber twice.  A club team from the University of Wyoming was originally schedule to play, but dropped out late last week.

The first game of the day is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. at Cenex Stadium when the Yellowjackets face the Wildcats.  The two teams will square off again at 3:30 p.m. after the Wildcats meet Dawson CC in back-to-back games at 11:45 and 1:45.

The Yellowjackets are 7-0 in their exhibition games this fall.  Included in those seven wins are four against Dawson CC and three at the Northern Idaho Tournament last weekend.  Saturday’s games will be the last of the fall season for MSU Billings, which opens the regular 2004 season February 5-7 at the Triple Crown Tournament in Las Vegas, NV
