Yellowjackets Sign Skyview Soccer Player (Apr.
30, 2004)
BILLINGS, MT – Montana State-Billings men’s
soccer coach Doug Seigle announced today that Kean Christensen
from Billings has signed to play for the Yellowjackets next fall.
Christensen, a 5-foot-10 forward, was a
three-year letterman at Billings Skyview High School, earning
all-state honors as a senior in 2003. He was the Falcons’
offensive player of the year as a senior after scoring 12 goals
and eight assists. The 12 goals were the third most in a single
season at the school. He was one of the top goal scorers in the
state as a senior, leading the Falcons to their first state
tournament appearance. Christensen also lettered twice for the
Skyview wrestling team.
“Kean is a young, talented player who has
good energy and who work hard,” said Seigle. “We’re happy to sign
him because we want to keep the good local players here. He has
good tools and works hard so I think he’ll be able to make the
transition from high school to college soccer.” |
