Yellowjacket Soccer Signs First Two Recruits (Apr. 28, 2004)
BILLINGS, MT – Montana State-Billings head
men’s soccer coach Doug Seigle announced his first two national
letter of intent signings of the spring today. Colin Adams of
Kirkland, Wash., and Matthew D’Hont of Rapid City, S.D., will join
the Yellowjackets in the fall.
D’Hont is a 5-foot-9 forward who led Central
High School to the consolation championship at the 2003 South
Dakota State Tournament where he was named the tournament Most
Valuable Player. He earned first team all-state honors as a
senior after leading his team in scoring. He also was named the
CHS Offensive Player of the Year. D’Hont was a second team
all-state selection as a junior.
Adams, a 5-9 midfielder from Juanito High
School, has helped his team reach the playoffs for three
consecutive years including a division championship in 2003. He
has scored three goals and three assists in his senior season that
is still in progress. As a junior, Adams earned first team
all-county honors and was named the Best Offensive Player at JHS.
He was also first team all-county as a sophomore. |
