TURLOCK, CA – The Montana
State-Billings men’s golf team didn’t gain any
ground in the final round of the Buzzini/Stanislaus
Invitational on Tuesday, finishing where they
entered the day. The Yellowjackets finished
eighteenth in the nineteen team field.
Chris Haas led the Jackets with
a three-round total of 228 for a 12-over par 43rd place finish. Haas shot 1-under 71 in the first
round and carded 78 and 79 in the final two rounds.
Judd Norman placed 78th with a 23-over
239. His third round 75 was the Jackets’ lowest
individual score for the day.
Hawaii-Hilo’s Nick Mason won
individual honors with a 6-under 210. He set a
tournament record with his second-round 65. UC-Davis
captured the team title with a three-day total of
865.
MSU Billings next plays at the
Nebraska-Kearney on April 19-20. They close the
season April 26-27 at the Northern Colorado
Invitational.
