Yellowjacket Golf Teams Wrap up South Dakota Invite (Apr. 5, 2004)

VERMILLION, SD – The Montana State-Billings golf teams each completed the South Dakota Invitational with top eight finishes on Monday.  The men’s team finished in a tie for sixth place in the 11 team field, while the women’s team placed eighth in the 11 team field.

The Lady Yellowjackets were led by Julie Clifford’s twenty-ninth place finish.  She shot rounds of 89 and 91 for a two-day total of 180.  Elizabeth Marshall finished in thirty-third with a 183.

The Yellowjacket men’s team was paced by Chris Haas who carded back-to-back rounds of 74 for a 4-over 148.  Judd Norman and Andy Eames each finished tied at 154.

The Yellowjacket men will next play at Cal State-Stanislaus in Turlock, CA on April 12 and 13.  The Lady Yellowjackets play at Northern Colorado on April 12 and 13.
