Yellowjacket Golf Teams Travel to Nebraska for
3-Round Tourney (Apr. 18, 2004)
BILLINGS, MT – The Montana
State-Billings men’s and women’s golf teams play at
the Northwest Region Spring Head-to-Head Tournament
on April 19 and 20. Hosted by the University of
Nebraska-Kearney, the tournament will be the last of
the season for the Lady Jackets. The men’s team
will wrap up the season next week at the Northern
Colorado Invitational.
The first 36 holes of the
54-hole tournament will be played on Monday at the
par-71 Firethorn Golf Club in Lincoln, Neb. The
final round will be played on Tuesday. Tee times
both days will start at 8:00 a.m. CST.
The tournament will feature
nine teams from the Rocky Mountain Athletic
Conference, seven teams from the North Central
Conference and the independent Yellowjackets.
Participating teams from the RMAC are
Nebraska-Kearney, Fort Hays State, Regis, Colorado
Christian, Colorado State-Pueblo, Colorado School of
Mines, Colorado-Colorado Springs, Adams State and
Fort Lewis. From the NCC will be Augustana, South
Dakota, South Dakota State, North Dakota, North
Dakota State, St. Cloud State and Minnesota
State-Mankato. |
