Yellowjacket Golfers Fair Well on First Day at
Northwest Intercollegiate (Mar.

BLAINE, WA – The Montana
State-Billings golf teams are each in the middle of
the pack after Monday’s first round of the Northwest
Intercollegiate Tournament. The women’s team sits
in fifth place in the eleven team field, while the
men are sixth in a sixteen team field. The
tournament wraps up Tuesday with 18 holes at
Semiahoo Resort.
Elizabeth Marshall and Julie
Clifford paced the women’s squad by shooting 90 and
91 respectively. Amanda Rabenberg carded a 94 to
round out the Yellowjackets’ scoring players. The
tournament is using the top three women and the top
four men for team scoring.
The Yellowjacket men were led
by Eric Staab’s 77. Judd Norman and Chris Haas each
carded 78s. Andy Eames shot an 82 as MSUB’s fourth
counting score.
