Six Yellowjackets Ranked in NCAA Stats Leaders (Feb. 17, 2004)
BILLINGS, MT – Six different Yellowjacket
basketball players, four men and two women, are ranked among the
NCAA’s top 50 in this week’s statistical rankings.
Robyn Milne and Jenny Langford are again
among the nation’s best in two categories each. Milne slipped
from No. 2 to No. 5 in the country for rebounding (11.8 rpg) and
climbed from No. 18 to No. 15 for blocked shots (2.6 bpg).
Langford moved up in two categories, jumping from No. 35 to No. 27
for 3-pointers made per game (2.5) and from No. 45 to No. 39 for
3-point field goal percentage (39.3)
For the men, Cameron Munoz continues to lead
the nation in 3-point shooting, averaging 4.9 made 3-pointers per
game. He is also No. 35 in the country for scoring average
(20.3). Trae Fortier dropped two spots to No. 9 for scoring
(22.9). The Yellowjackets still lead the nation for team
3-pointers made per game (12.7), but dropped to second for scoring
(94.8) behind Concord, who averages 96.1 ppg. The Jackets are
also No. 9 for 3-point percentage (42.1)
