Milne and Munoz Still among National Stats Leaders (Feb. 11, 2004)
BILLINGS, MT – The Yellowjackets Robyn Milne
and Cameron Munoz remained among the national statistical leaders
this week in the rankings released by the NCAA.
Junior center Milne is second in the nation
for rebounds per game for the third straight week, averaging 12.2
rebounds a game. She is also 18th in the country for
blocked shots, averaging 2.4 per game. As a team, the
Yellowjackets are still one of the toughest teams to shoot
against, ranking 34th for team field goal percentage
defense. They hold opponents to just 36.7 percent from the
field.
Munoz leads the PacWest Conference and the
nation for 3-point field goals made per game. He is averaging 4.9
threes a game, helping the Yellowjackets to their No. 1 team
ranking for 3-point shooting with an average of 13.0 per game.
The Jackets are also first in the country for scoring, averaging
95.9 points per game.
