Attendance Expected for Yellowjacket Athletics Scholarship Dinner Auction (Nov. 5, 2003)
BILLINGS, MT – The MSU Billings Department of
Intercollegiate Athletics will hold its Sixth Annual Scholarship Dinner
Auction on Thursday evening, November 6, with a sellout crowd expected to
attend. All of the money raised from the auction is earmarked for
student-athlete scholarships.
Check in for the event will run from 5:45 to 6:45
p.m. with a prime rib dinner and silent auction beginning at 6:50. The
live portion of the auction, which includes 36 lots, is scheduled to run
from 7:15 to 8:30.
Over fifty silent lots will be up for bid, including
autographed sports memorabilia, assorted gift baskets, spa and salon
packages, college and professional sports ticket packages, and hotel
packages.
The live auction, which will be run by auctioneer Jim
McSwain, includes golf packages; private hunting and fishing trips;
weekend getaways to locations such as Yellowstone Park, Jackson Hole,
Green River, and four Salt Lake City ski resorts; NFL game tickets, a
Mercury Sable; several dinner and hotel combinations; and collectible art.

Dinner Auction cost $30, and eight-person tables are $200. For more
