Coach Aumend on Pavey: “Layne is a captain with a fire and passion for the
game. Her catching skills are second to none in the
areas of blocking, framing and pitch calls. On
offense, she’s a deadly hitter who has power to both
fields. I would love to see Theresa and Layne
challenge each other for .400 batting averages and
national ranking in doubles this year. If that
happens, we’ll be one of the best teams in the
region.” |
