Gordie Vierck returns to the Yellowjackets for his
second season. The last time he played was the 2001
season when he started all 16 games in goal for
MSU Billings. In 2001, Vierck played 1475 minutes,
allowing 27 goals while making 93 saves. His 5.81
saves per game is third-best in Yellowjacket
history, as are his 93 saves. He posted three solo
shutouts in the 2001 season, a current Yellowjacket
record. A 1999 graduate of Pasco High School, Vierck
lettered three years in soccer. He was the team MVP
as a junior and first team all-conference as a
senior. Pasco captured league, district and state
championships his senior season and was ranked #4
nationally by the NHSCA. |
