MSUB Women’s Soccer to Host Jamestown, Magic City Youth Soccer Weekend (October 2, 2002)

BILLINGS, MT - Montana State University-Billings returns to action in women’s soccer this weekend when the Yellowjackets host Jamestown College on Saturday afternoon.  MSU Billings enters the weekend at 1-9 while Jamestown is 6-6.  The Jimmies will play at Rocky Mountain on Friday before taking on the Jackets on Saturday.

MSU Billings is coming off two road losses, one to Seattle University and one to Simon Fraser.  The Yellowjackets will look to rebound against NAIA Jamestown after giving up a total of 18 goals in the two previous games.  Game time is set for 1:00 p.m. at Yellowjacket Field at the MSU Billings C.O.T.

On Friday the women’s soccer team will hold a free youth soccer clinic and pizza party in conjunction with Magic City Soccer.  The clinic will be conducted by head women’s coach Don Trentham and the MSU Billings Yellowjackets players.  The clinic is scheduled to run from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and will conclude with a free pizza and pop party.  All youth players who attend the clinic will also receive free tickets to Saturday’s game against Jamestown.
