Yellowjackets Complete Second Golf Event of the
Season (April 14, 2003)
WINDSOR, CO – The MSU Billings
women’s golf team played in its second event of the
spring, finishing 11th at the Northern
Colorado Bear Spring Invitational at the Pelican
Lakes Country Club. Elizabeth Marshall shot rounds
of 98 and 102 to lead the Yellowjackets, who are in
their first season of competition. Marshall placed
53rd individually.
Host Northern Colorado took
home the team title with a two-day team score of 629
on the 6039 par 72 course. Teams from five
different states competed in the meet. The
Yellowjackets will finish their inaugural season
April 19-22 at the Western Washington Invitational
in Bellingham.
