Lady Yellowjackets to Hold First Public Scrimmage on
Friday (October 30, 2002)
BILLINGS, MT – The Montana
State University-Billings women’s basketball team
has scheduled the first of two Blue-Gold scrimmages
for Friday, November 1 at Alterowitz Gymnasium. The
game will tip off at 7:00 p.m.
MSU Billings finished last
season with an overall 23-5 record and qualified for
the NCAA Tournament for the seventh time since
1994. They earned the No. 3 seed in the West Region
as an independent qualifier in 2002.
The Yellowjackets will play an
Alumni Exhibition game on Saturday, November 9
following the women’s volleyball match, and will
hold a second Blue-Gold scrimmage on Friday,
November 15.
MSU Billings will open the
women’s basketball regular season on November 22 and
23 when the Jackets host the University of
California-San Diego. |
