Softball Team Opens Fall Season in Colorado (September 10, 2002)

The Lady Yellowjackets softball team will open its fall season this weekend when it travels to Colorado for six games.  The Jackets have been practicing since the first day of classes, September 4, and have an 11-game fall schedule set. 

MSUB will compete in four games on September 14 at the University of Southern Colorado Tournament in Pueblo, CO.  The Yellowjackets will face Regis University, Northern Colorado, Southern Colorado, and the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs. 

The Jackets will then travel to Fort Collins, Colorado for a double-header against D-I Colorado State University. 

Yellowjacket fans will be able to catch team at home on two dates during the fall season.  MSU Billings will play its annual Blue-White public scrimmage on September 28.   The Jackets will then face Dawson CC in a triple-header on October 5.  They will close out the season the following week when they travel to Dawson CC for a double-header on October 12.
