Yellowjacket Softball Games Postponed again (February 22, 2003)
HONOLULU, HI – After having
play suspended because of rain yesterday, the
weather again put a stop to the scheduled softball
games between MSU Billings and Hawaii Pacific.
The Yellowjackets held a 5-2
lead after four innings of play in Friday’s second
game when the game was stopped because of wet field
conditions. That game was planned to be finished at
noon HST time today followed by another
double-header. All three games were scrapped due to
the field conditions Saturday morning. The Sea
Warriors and Yellowjackets will attempt to finish
the suspended game as well as play the second
PacWest double-header on Sunday.
Hawaii Pacific won the first
game of the series 5-2 to improve to 6-1 overall and
1-0 in the PacWest. MSU Billings fell to 0-3, 0-1.
The Yellowjackets are slated to play at BYU-Hawaii
on Monday and Tuesday weather permitting. |
