career-high for points scored with 12 against
Oklahoma Panhandle and Alaska-Fairbanks...tied her
career-best for assists with five against Carroll
College and Cal State-Dominguez Hills...nabbed a
career-high four steals against Western New Mexico.
Sophomore Season (2000-2001): Scored a
season-best 10 points and seven rebounds against
Western New Mexico...shot 83-percent from the free
throw line for the season, only missing three of 18
attempts...handed out a career-high five assists
against Seattle Pacific.
Freshman Season (1999-2000): Played in 12
games...averaged seven minutes a game...in her best
game of the season, scored six points, dished out
four assists, grabbed three rebounds, and picked up
two steals against Seattle Pacific.
At Grass Range HS: Was a four-year starter and
four-time team Most Valuable Player for the
Rangers...averaged 16.9 points, four assists, and
four steals per game for her four-year career...was
a first-team all-state selection three times...was
given her team’s Most Inspirational Award...earned
academic all-state honors...was a three-time team
captain...won the Ranger Award for leadership,
academics, spirit, team play, and talent...selected
to play in Montana-Wyoming All-Star Game.
Personal: Parents are Loyd and Jean Bantz of
Grass Range...majoring in biology...has one brother,
Brandon...favorite hobbies include hunting, camping,
fishing, and hanging out with friends...biggest
thrill of her college career was playing in two
regional NCAA Tournaments...career goal is to be a
pharmacist.
