Season Outlook
Van Zanten missed all of the 2001 season with a back
injury. After intensive rehab and many hours
spent working out in the gym this summer, she is
ready to return to action for the Yellowjackets.
As a true freshman in 1999, Van Zanten played in 26
games, registering 13 kills and 21 digs. In
2000 she saw increased playing time, resulting in
better production. She finished the season
with 26 kills, 99 digs, and 15 service aces.
Now that she is finally healthy, Van Zanten should
be a solid contributor as a hitter for the Jackets.
She has the ability to attack the net aggressively
on offense and to be a solid defender. |
