# 1
Olivia Munro
Sophomore
Outside Hitter
Toronto, Ontario |
|
2002
Season Outlook
Munro instantly became an impact player for the
Yellowjackets as a freshman, playing in 24 matches
and 87 games. Even though the outside hitter
came to a team that already had three solid hitters
on it, she still posted over 200 kills and averaged
the third-most kills-per-game on the squad.
Standing 5'8", Munro is a powerful player who
attacks from well above the net. She is also a
lethal server, registering 30 service aces, the
second most on the team last year an by far the most
of any returning player. Munro excels on
defense just as well as she does on offense.
Her 3.57 digs-per-game led the Yellowjackets in
2001. With more playing time and more
opportunities this year, Munro could be the
Yellowjackets' most dangerous offensive threat. |
