Season Outlook
Janney will have large shoes to fill when she takes
over the setter position for the graduated Mandi
Taylor. Coach Matavao will look for Janney to
replace most of the school-record 10.38
assists-per-game posted by Taylor. Fortunately
for the Yellowjackets, Janney has the ability and
experience to step in and keep the Jackets' offense
rolling. As a freshman and a sophomore she was
No. 2 on the team for both assists and
assists-per-game. She is a four-year player at
MSU Billings, is already in the top eight in school
history for career assists, and was the team leader
during off-season workouts this summer. Along
with directing the Yellowjacket offense, Janney will
contribute solidly on defense. She has never
had a season with fewer than 100 digs and should
finish her career in the top ten for career digs at
MSU Billings. |
