MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — Montana State University Billings art student Katelynn Burg, presents her first exhibition, No Luck Shmuck. The capstone exhibition is open from April 19 through April 27 in the Student Gallery on the first floor of the Liberal Arts Building.

Reception will be held on Thursday, April 19 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. The show and reception are free and open to the public.

No Luck Shmuck consists of illustrations and animations of a humorous cartoon character, named No Luck Shmuck, who experiences unlucky events. Misfortune of a character is a humor that can be laughed at because we know that there is no real threat. The work explores the psychology and the theory of humor.

Burg is a new media artist who explores humor and the psyche. She is a senior at MSUB and will graduate with a B.F.A in May 2018. Burg is a long-term aquaholic. She does not have a favorite color.
