MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — Mystifier Mike Super — Campus Activities Magazine's 2012 and 2011 Entertainer of the Year and winner of NBC's "Phenomenon" — will bring his college show performance to Montana State University Billings on March 17.

Sponsored by MSUB’s Student Activities Board, the performance will be held on the university campus in Petro Hall at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

As the winner of NBC’s hit TV show “Phenomenon” and Top Finalist of “America’s Got Talent”, Super is the only magician in history to win a LIVE magic competition on prime time U.S. network television.

Through spectacular illusions and his own inimitable down-to-earth style and personality, he has pioneered a new form of magic that transcends the "trick" and has emerged as magic’s newest celebrity.

Stafford, who is chair of the Student Activities Board, attended the National Association for Campus Activities conference recently where she saw Super perform.

“Mike Super is an amazing talent that really engages and interacts with his audience,” student Lauren Stafford said. “We felt that bringing Mike Super to MSUB would truly bring a captivating event, one like no other, for students and our community. He has caught the eye of millions, so being able to bring him to our very own campus is an opportunity we couldn't pass up.”

A two-time recipient of the Merlin Award, Super shares the prestigious recognition with the likes of David Copperfield, Penn & Teller, and Siegfried and Roy.
