MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — Montana State University Billings will reopen and resume normal hours and operations on Friday.

Classes, activities and events on the four-year campus will be held at their normal times. All buildings and offices will reopen at 8 a.m. and all employees will report to work as regularly scheduled.

MSUB officials urge students, faculty and staff to continue to use caution when navigating their way to and around campus. They will advise of any status changes of operations on the university's Advisory website at www.msubillings.edu/msubalert[BROKEN LINK]

Frigid temperatures and a natural gas shortage Wednesday prompted the university to cancel classes and shut down most of the four-year campus late Wednesday afternoon and all of Thursday. The closure was a preventative measure to conserve the heat supply.
