MSUB students serve a tasty dish at the International Food Fair

MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — Essen, Tabemono, Nourriture, Shiwu; what do these phrases have in common? They all represent the same word, “food,” all of which will be brought to Billings from around the world on Thursday, March 21.

Montana State University Billings’ International Studies Club, in conjunction with Sodexo foods have united to bring global cuisine to Billings during the 10th Annual International Food Fair.  This unique cultural and culinary experience will be held in the MSU Billings Student Union Building cafeteria. The event runs from 4:30-6:30 p.m. and will include sampling of foods and cultural education from around the world. Participants can experience the lives of international students without leaving Billings.  The cost to attend is only $8 per person or $25 for a family of four; all you care to eat.

During the food fair, cuisine from Japan, China, Korea, Mexico, France, Ethiopia, Cameroon, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Germany will be available. Beyond the food, international students will be sharing pieces of their country and language in a mutual cultural exchange.  Multicultural music and entertainment from various countries will set the mood.
