MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — Dr. David Weiss, assistant professor of communications at Montana State University Billings, and Kayla Miller, President of Associated Students of MSU Billings, were recently named to the MSU Billings Career Services Advisory Board.

 

Miller and current advisory board members Bill McDonald and Kristi Natzel from Costco were named co-chairs for the 2010-11 academic year.

 

Returning employer members include Deane Reay, Billings School District 2; Kathy Smith, St. Vincent Healthcare; Debbie Potter, EideBailly; Becky Webber, Big Brothers/ Big Sisters; Augie Aga, Connoisseur Media; Tom Rodgers, PPL Montana; Rachelle Elliott, Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch; James Klanke, Wells Fargo; Sue McCannel, Bureau of Reclamation; Shane Bofto, HydroSolutions; and Mike Magone, Fiserv Corporation.

 

Returning MSU Billings members include Lynette Schwalbe, College of Education; Vern Gagnon, College of Technology; Gary Amundson, College of Business; Dr. Diane Duin, College of Allied Health; Trudy Carey, Disability Support Services; Kathy Kotecki, Office of Community Involvement; Reno Charette, American Indian Outreach; Julie Seedhouse, Alumni Association and Dr. Stacy Klippenstein, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs.

 

Advisory board members serve two-year terms and include university and community representatives whose industries align with degrees offered by MSU Billings. They include Banking/Finance; Education and Human Services; Health Care/Allied Health; Trade and Industry; Wholesale/Retail; Professional Services; Transportation; Non-Profit sector; Government; Information Technology; Environmental Studies/Science; and Communications.
