MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — Billings residents interested in expanding their understanding of the world or who want to make new friends in faraway places can do so this summer without leaving home.

The English as a Second Language (ESL) program at Montana State University Billings is in need of host families for 16 Japanese students who taking part in the program this summer. ESL at MSU Billings is offered through the Office of International Studies and will take place this year from Aug. 11-31.

Being a host family is a great way to befriend an international student and help make their stay in America fun and rewarding. The ESL students have days filled with education and cultural programs, but also have free time to explore Billings, Montana and the region.

If you are interested in hosting an international student for the ESL program, please contact Ann Wittkopp at the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs at 657-2307 or via e-mail at awittkopp@msubillings.edu. Applications for host families are due by July 6.
