The following are available to students:
Mentoring:
Each student is matched with either a peer or staff mentor who provides academic assistance and a friendly ear.
Academic Assistance:
Pre-advising, registering for classes, midterm evaluations, applying for graduation, information on graduate school, workshops, campus & community referrals, résumé and cover letters, references for employment
Computer Lab:
Desktop computers and laptops are available for day-use.
Financial Aid & Literacy:
FAFSA completion, budgeting, letter of recommendation for and help applying for scholarships, newsletters with financial tips
Instructional Equipment:
SmartPens, iClickers, voice recorders, calculators, cameras, colored overlays, Read & Write and Dragon Naturally Speaking software, webcams
Office Equipment:
Binding machine, copy machine, die cut machine, ELMO, fax machine, laminator, Smart Board
Resource Library:
Text and reference books, videos, and flashcards
Tutoring/Study Groups:
Offer a wide-range of tutoring opportunities for general education classes.
