Application
The application must be completed with the necessary attached documentation and a non-refundable $25.00 application fee before they will be accepted. All applications will be held on file for 6 months. After that point, it is the responsibility of the applicant to renew their application every 6 months.
Availability
All apartments are currently occupied, but we do have a waiting list. Open apartments will be filled based on the date received, eligibility, registered student, credit/rent history checks, and availability of appropriate apartments. Priority is given to MSUB students first.
Eligibility
Married, Married with Children, or Single Parent with Children OR Domestic Partnership after married with children (would need a joint account that is used for at least a year)
AND
Full Time Student (12 credits undergraduate or 9 credits graduate)

Facilities
Family Housing has 10 apartments, 6 three-bedroom units and 4 two-bedroom units. Two of the ground level units are fully handicap accessible. One of whick is a two-bedroom and the other a three-bedroom unit. These accessible apartments have only shower units.

Occupancy Limits
2 bedroom apartments – A maximum of 4 people, with no more than 2 adults
3 bedroom apartments – A maximum of 6 people, with no more than 2 adults
Rent
$750.00/month for the two-bedroom unit
$800.00/month for the three-bedroom unit
$500.00 deposit + $50.00 key deposit
(includes refrigerator, gas stove, dishwasher, and all apartments have central air).
*water and garbage are paid by the university
**gas and electricity are paid by the renter
***washer/dryer hook-ups in apartment
Additional Information
- Pets are not allowed, Service Animals and Emotional Support Animals are allowed once approved (More information on Emotional Support and Service Animal Information/Application)
- All units are non-smoking including the property the units sit on.
- Renters are required to purchase MSU Billings Family Housing parking permits (see Parking for rates), each unit will have access to two parking spaces in the Family Housing Parking area.
