Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences (SeAMK) is a multidisciplinary institution of higher education in the region of South Ostrobothnia in West Finland. SeAMK has colleges of Food and Agriculture, Business and Culture, Healthcare, and Social Work.
Seinäjoki is the center of South Ostrobothnia and one of the fastest growing urban areas in Finland. With a population of about 61,500, this area has a welcoming urban environment that has short distances between services and amenities.

Student housing at Seinajoki
All students planning on studying at this SeAMK must obtain a residence permit and a Schengen visa. Both must be submitted in person to a Consulate General that has jurisdiction in the home state and a meeting in person is mandatory.
All students are required to have international insurance. It is very important to confirm with your insurance company about coverage before departure. It is also recommended to purchase supplemental insurance to make sure that everything is covered.
Student apartments are available within a short walking distance from campus. There are two-bedroom shared apartments offered for $284- $391 per month. A one-bedroom apartment ranges from $408-$539 per month. The cost of rent for these particular apartments includes electricity, heat, water, laundry, and access to a sauna.
