Participants will acquire new tools for being an effective board member and providing leadership and direction for nonprofit organizations. The training is led by local professionals and based on the fundamentals of nonprofit governance concepts and includes instruction on providing effective financial and legal oversight for a nonprofit organization.

MSU Billings Nonprofit Board Training presented a comprehensive overview of the legal, financial and administrative essentials that make for an effective nonprofit board. I came away with a renewed commitment to improving and engaging our board functioning. The training provided me with some simple solutions to some current sticky issues before several of the boards on which I serve. We have already instituted some of these and things are moving much smoother now with improved outcomes. A day well spent.”
